Gokarna Forest Resort

An oasis of peace and tranquility, steeped in rich historical and cultural significance, the main resort complex derives its influence from an architectural blend of Malla and Rana royal palaces. The temperate forest of medieval Kathmandu Valley has been protected for over 500 years - nourishing and providing shelter to a wide variety of birds and animals including spotted-deer and monkeys, all of which are easily spotted throughout the Resort grounds.
