Kantipur Village is a boutique hotel located in the heart of the tourist hub, Thamel, which is the center of Kathmandu's nightlife. The city serves as the gateway to the Nepalese Himalayas and is home to several world heritage sites. Kantipur was a medieval kingdom within the Malla confederacy of Nepal, and the name of the kingdom was derived from the Sanskrit name of its capital city, now known as Kathmandu.
Our hotel is a classic reflection of traditional neo-Newar architecture, featuring sculptures and wooden craftsmanship. From the shutter windows to the ceiling, as well as throughout the rooms, everything is adorned with intricate wooden sculptures.
