Great food and ambience!!!

- This has to be the best restaurant in this area, highlighting the price, food, ambience, and service overall. - Golo aaloo (round crispy potato) surely has to be the spotlight amongst the many foods tried here. - A variety of Newari food is also available which seems authentic to the culture. - Board games and books available. The owner even lets you play his guitar kept in display :) - huge screen for karaoke. also suitable for project displays and meetings.

Great stay beside Riverside

Visited Riverside Resort last week and had a good experience. Place is nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Rooms are clean, but bit small. The food was tasty but little expensive. The river view from balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, though the service was bit slow sometimes. Enjoyed the swimming pool, clean and well-maintained. The garden area was pretty too. Overall, it's a good spot for a weekend escape. Can improve on some things, but had a pleasant stay. Would recommend for short trips. Four stars!

Great Food Experience at Dalle!

One of the best Pork Mo:Mo that we have tasted that hit the sweet spot. We visited Jawalakhel location (opposite of Nanglo by the roundabout). Out of bunch of foods that we tried, our favorite was Pork Steam Mo:Mo, and Spicy Buff Sukuti. The spice level in Momo was mild (bringing in authentic Tibetan style), Thin wrapper, Keema (Ground Meat) and Pyaaj (Onions) cooked to perfection and served with Dalle achar (🌶🌶 Too Spicy 🌶🌶), just the way it was supposed to be. Sadheko Sukuti (Dried Buffalo Meat seasoned with Spices) was on point! Great Experience! We would love to visit again & also try other locations. Bricks Cafe Firewood Pizza

Great Ambience at the Bricks

Visited this location my family. It was one evening in the month of December 2024. The inside was very nice and cozy. The wall throughout the place was made up of traditional handcrafted bricks, hence the name Bricks Cafe. Definitely gives that authentic Nepali charm and vibe of nostalgic world, yet with modern touch. Food was decent. Some items, me and my partner thought could have been made a lot better, but it wasn't bad at all. We would love to explore more items in the future again.

Best place for Samosa

Right in the middle of a busy strip in the hustle and bustle of Thamel stands this place. It is always packed, often long lines of customers. Simply order and take your bite standing and enjoying the crowdedness. Samosa was my favorite, but other items will not disappoint you though! Will go back again! Happy Eating!

Quite a memorable experience for our group

We visited this place in a group of 10 from our company. just like the trio to Haibung is awesome and breathtaking so was the lunch experience in this place in front of the amazing forest, view of Chiya Bagan below and the location location was pretty cool in with all the flowers and the Organic plantations as well. Exquisite food was served by the word class chef who was by the way very cheerful and his stories very amazing to listen to. Food was one of the best we had ever had and the local style alcoholoc drink (tongba) was very fine as well. all in all it was the best choice to make as a company trip which was perfect for a single day trip to visit and return from morning to evening. 5/5 all the way. Best of luck, Prakriti Resort and thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Kulekhani Village Resort

Hidden Gem For a Great Escape

Me and my friends escaped Kathmandu city to enjoy this resort by Kulekhani Lake which was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation alongside such serene nature. Simply loved the beautiful lake views and green scenery. Staff were more than hospitable and welcomed us with smiles and drinks, making us feel at home. Cozy room with big windows with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Nothing more you could ask for. On the first day, we boated on the lake, singing and laughing. The best part was the sunset boat ride; watching the sun set behind the hills was magical. At night, we sat on the rooftop, sharing stories, singing and playing guitar. The next morning, we hiked the nearby trails with a local guide who told us about the area’s history and lifestyle. The fresh mountain air and lake views lifted our spirits. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with local and international dishes. Our afternoons were spent by the lakeside, sipping drinks and enjoying the view. One friend tried fishing, and the chef cooked our catch for dinner. Evenings were fun with music and dance-offs. By the end, we surely didn’t want to leave. Kulekhani Lakeside Resort gave us a memorable experience, strengthening our friendships. It’s the perfect place for adventure, relaxation, or both. If you want a slice of paradise in Nepal, I highly recommend this resort. It’s a hidden gem for a great escape from everyday life.

Cozy Space in a Busy Street!

On one busy day, we hopped one after another to different restaurants (Yes, we skipped the breakfast). Some were busy, some didn't quite click the vibe. Then we kept riding forward, and in no time reached Thamel. Right there, we found this spot. I had heard the name prior but hadn't gotten any chance to visit. That was the moment I thought. Inside was a really comforting low-key space. The Food was good I would say, however I would like to try more before diving into the nitty gritty. They have bars and really cozy sitting spaces everywhere. And yes, you could see pizza makers in action along with the view of the brick oven (or could be stone oven, I didn't ask). Will visit again.

A true hidden gem!

We wanted to take a quick stroll to the Boudhha Stupa in one evening. On our way, right before entering Stupa (I dont remember from what direction we entered though), this place was right there and we couldn't resist. We picked multiple items thinking left-overs will serve the breakfast next morning. They were all delicious. The cafe is very modern, clean, aesthetically pleasing and friend smiles all over. It has a nice cozy inside sitting spaces, where you can simply eat or can take your book or even laptop and do what your things. A Hidden Gem that is Not So Hidden! Will visit again! Cheers!

3A Cafe

Nice Kombucha

It was a hot summer day when I stubled upon this cafe. I wanted something cold to drink and the manager offered me a glass of Kombucha, a fermented tea I believe. It was delicious and refreshing homemade wine. Place is small but they have uniqueness in whatever they are serving there.
